Plateau
A period where weight stays within a narrow range despite a calorie deficit, often due to water retention or adaptation.
A plateau is a normal part of the weight loss process. The body may hold water or adjust energy use, which slows visible progress. This does not mean fat loss has stopped. Continued consistency usually leads to a drop after this period.
