Macronutrients

Macronutrients are protein, fat, and carbohydrates. Every calorie you eat comes from one of these three, and each one affects hunger, energy, and scale behavior differently.

Each macronutrient plays a different role in how your body responds to food. Protein supports fullness and helps maintain muscle. Carbohydrates affect energy levels and water balance. Fat contributes a large amount of calories in small portions, so it needs to be managed carefully.
