Early Conclusion of Fast
The decision to conclude the fast at 44 hours instead of the intended 60 hours marked an unexpected, yet positive, beginning to a 90-day challenge. Despite not reaching the original target, the early finish was embraced as a successful launch.
Dietary Choices and Caloric Intake
The day was characterized by a minimal caloric intake of approximately 600 calories, focusing on straightforward, nutritious foods. The diet consisted primarily of chicken breast, accompanied by cucumbers and a few pickles, complemented by coffee and water throughout the day. While the approach shifted away from a strict water fast, the dietary structure remained similar, emphasizing high protein, moderate fiber, and minimal calories.
Maintaining Momentum
The primary objective was to sustain the momentum from the fasting period and ensure a continued caloric deficit, setting a strong foundation for the ongoing challenge.
